How to re program a 2001 Toyota Yaris key fob...

I have just changed the battery in my mum's 2001 Toyota Yaris key fob. I am just wondering if there is a 'reset' procedure I may need to do or should it work straight out of the box?

(It's a 30 mile round trip to get back to her house so just want to be prepared in advance, I suppose it may well work without any further intervention, and being that old, doubt there'll be any fancy procedure to follow!)

    Only got experience of changing batteries in Ford and VW group fobs, but they just worked, no monkey business.😀
