2010 Drum to Disc conversion

Featured Replies

I am just pricing up all the parts required to convert the rear drums to discs on my 2010 Focus 1.8 Petrol.

I have just found a seller with 7 sets of calipers in stuck for ford focus cars 2005 - 2018. I have asked them if there is any difference between calipers for 265mm discs and 278mm discs.

I was planning on going for the 265mm disc setup and they have said the calipers are for 280mm rear discs.

Does anyone know if there are any differences in the calipers? i.e. could I use the 280mm calipers on 265mm discs?

Alternatively I could go for 278mm discs but if I go down this route would I need any additional parts from the conversion guide I found on this forum?

Cheers in advance....
