Where are all the, 'my A/C isn't working', threads? It's 24c + in many places today LOL

Guess everyone's A/C is working just as it should LOL (apart from the odd one posted last week)

Windows working fine and the fan is on full blast but the conservatoy is still over 40C. !!!!! 🤣

My 'new' freezer chose to auto defrost this morning (seems to be a 56 hour cycle)...  Got up to -10c!  It's meant to be -18c ffs...  It will be getting returned now lol.

Mines working fine since i had it regassed start of the week, on a Groupon voucher. No gas and no oil hence why it wasnt working. Cant fault ATS for service.

Still not anti-bac'd it yet, too ***** hot out there LOL.

I’m so glad I found a YouTube fix a few months ago for my air on which hadn’t been working properly for a few years.

Shim removed from behind the compressor clutch worked wonders 🥶

I think my aircon works pretty well, however my sweaty back and ***** crack caused by the black leather seats rather dulls the effect.

Ice cold AC in my 14 year old Focus in 30c ambient temps earlier 🤠

That's when you think why did I want leather seats, same in reverse in the winter. Freeze your ***** off on a frosty cold morning.

Lol. 46.6 degrees when I got inside the car yesterday after working 10hrs in a warehouse and covering 46k steps.

Windows down, no aircon on, enjoy the breeze 👍

I was getting into hot cars and vans all day on friday. As soon as the car or van started to get cold, it was time to jump into another hot one.

All three of the cars I currently use have icy AC- which is lovely.

Not even seen any "there's a fluid leak  under my car" then the " it's brake fluid leak mate, it's a coolant leak mate, gearbox oil leak mate"

Nope!

Had the Mk3 serviced  on Friday and decided not to have the system re-gassed as I thought it was working but yesterday's temperatures were too much for it. It was barely cooling and not dehumidifying very well either so looks like I'll be booking it in somewhere this week.

Fortunately I only have to deal with this for 2 weeks a year. The cloth ones in the ST-2 make the car look so dated in comparison too.

Mine are also heated, I love them in winter. Although it does feel like you've urinated in your pants when the heat kicks in 😂. That takes a little while to get used to.

I do hate the fact it's a pain in the ***** to maintain and stop it from cracking though.

On the Mini forums....

Not as warm inside the car today down to only 46.2 degrees probably because I've managed to cut short my schedule today by 5 hrs 👍 so it's not quite as intense yet.

Not due back in whilst Wednesday now so time for a beer and chill.......Hope the fridge is working 😆 sod the aircon 🌞🌞

29c outside here now...just tried a short drive to a local shaded pond...big mistake!! 🥵

Air con working fine thankfully, and doesn't seem to smell as bad as it did now...but as I reached for my water bottle, realised the cooled glovebox is no longer working!!  Sad times...

Got the Mk3 re-gassed at Kwik Fit today. £59.99 booked through the website. When I picked it up it was blowing icy cold so well pleased with that.

I did have a "senior moment" though. It was so cold that I decided to turn it off but the button wouldn't work. Ok, then,  I'll up the temperature - that didn't work either. It took rather longer than it should have before I realised the guy had pressed the 'Max A/C' button.

Now, I usually wait a coupe of weeks before raising the balloons, but fingers crossed it'll see the rest of the summer out with you...
