Dent on repair

Hi, After an accident it was repaired fine and the repair carried a 5 year gurantee. Now I just parked car in Tescos and when I returned someone has put a dent on the previous repair. Would the gurantee cover this?

It won't cover it. It will only cover things like the paint peeling or the body filler falling out over time.

It's like buying a TV and asking to return it a week later because you dropped it and smashed the screen getting it out of the box.

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. It's what I thought as they would go out of business if they offered to patch up existing repairs. I just wanted to ask because I'm just so gutted as the repair was done only a few days ago and looked good and then this happens. Could be worse I suppose as the wheel arch is fine just a largeish dent (which might be able to be pulled) and short deep scratch ( that will need filler and paintwork) above.

I will probably investigate getting it done by a mobile dent specialist as I used one before years ago on my previous car, and just swallow the cost. Back then it was a longish dent on back and cost £200 with spraying.
