Coolant return system, looking for the name

Featured Replies

Aarrrggghhh fecking raging!

On taking off the vacuum pump to have a look and hopefully clean it up, thus restoring boost etc.

The ***** ratchet slipped and broke the joint connected to the engine just blow the vacuum pump.

I thanked my lucky stars that it appears to be replaceable part as managed to get part of it off the car by undoing the screw. There is still the broken bit connected to the engine, which I hope to get out tomorrow.

However what is the plug/coolant connector called?
The pipe goes from one of the top 2 coolant bottle then down to the side of the engine.

Any ideas? So I can call Ford and get a replacement.

TIA

If I remember correctly it's called a water inlet tube.
