Did the face lift 2007 Focus have less fore aft adjustment on the drivers seat ?

I am currently looking for a late model Focus MkII to buy but seem to remember that when we hired one years ago it didn't have enough fore aft seat adjustment on the drivers seat for my long legs. I have a 2005 model and it's fine, so is it that the adjustment reduced for the face lifted model or was it that car we hired had a fault on it ?
