2009 focus cc roof operation

Featured Replies

I am having a quick look to see if there is something obvious wrong before my car goes back to the garage to get the roof operation diagnosed....wondered if anyone knows should the manual opening bit at the front of the roof be really stiff to operate? It does unlock but is pretty stiff to do?

It should be somewhat stiff as it's a big locking lever. Depends on what you're using as leverage I suppose to undo it with

Brilliant, thanks. Was using a large allen key but wondered if that could have been a problem....I'll eliminate that from my list

Oh yeah no wonder you found it stiff, I use a ratchet that's roughly 30cm long 😂

The roof was originally saying the operation wasn't finished....the garage turned off the warning but didn't have time to have a proper look that the reason....I was debating on taking it down manually and seeing if it come back up but don't want to get stuck with the warning again!!!
