Hello. After some advice, my 2016 1.0 eco focus suffered a oil pump failure, which has lead to a earth shaking rattle from engine. I know full well this is going to be a new engine or overhaul. If anyone can give me any contacts in the west midlands area or anywhere really, or Advise I would be more than greatful for the help

Hi Curt, welcome to the Ford Owners Club.

You are correct your engine is now a pile of scrap metal. Don't waste your money even thinking about getting it overhauled/rebuilt, the cost will be crazzy and there is every chance the engine will still not be right.

Best option is to get a secondhand engine from a automotive recycle centre (posh name for a scrap yard 🤣). Expect to pay between £2000 to £2500 for a good one

Thankyou for the reply. This is exactly what I though. Having surfed the web and been hassled by so many companies I stupidly put my details in to, iv found a 2nd hand refurbed engine for £1300. Engine has less millage than mine currently so hopefully all will be good. 

Hi do you know how to switch from eco mode back to standard sorry to hear about the engine its not on a button its in settings was in standard only had car 2 days and started experimenting cheers in advance
