Sync 3 touchscreen frozen

Featured Replies

Good evening

I have a 18 plate Focus. Today while returning home the Sat Nav froze while driving, had to use Google maps on my phone to get home. When I noticed that it stopped working I did pull over and turned the engine off, but the screen would not go off. When I got home I turned the engine off and left it for 10 mins and started it up, and everything worked again.

Has anyone had this problem, should I be worried or just a one off.

Thanks

My early MK4 used to suffer from this problem and carrying out a Sync update fixed my one.

Try putting your VIN number in the Ford site below and it will probably tell there is an update available and guide how to update the system.

Thank you for your reply gds1972.

I entered my VIN number as suggested and my car is up to date.

Kind regards
