Finished this old model kit from 1987, it's a 1/72nd Revell JU 52 Lufthansa from 1934, well I like it 🤫 Some might not 🙄

Ian, That looks really good - are you old enough to remember Airfix Magazine, and Alan W Hall ? My older brother and I worked through the Aifix Catalogue when prices started at 2/- (10p) and the Victory (I think)was the most expensive at 17/6 (87.5p). Revell and Frog (Flies Right Off the Ground) kits were also around, but mainly we had Airfix.  I have a Tamiya Tank kit upstairs, electric motors etc. which I do intend to complete one day !

I'm 54 this September, I purchased a load of old Airfix magazines & books a few years ago, wanted to see what they was like.

I've been knocking about building nice models since 1990, but prior to 1990, it was a case of knock em' out as fast as I can, usually made poorly :hammer:

Had the Tamiya RC KIng Tiger, epic engineering at it's finest but got bored with it, so sold it on.

I found this picture today! ''Beatties'' oh to look upon model shops like this :tank:
