DAB not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

Everything on my Sync 1 seems to be working fine apart from my DAB. I was listening to it on the M1 around Christmas last year and it suddenly lost signal and I haven’t been able to select it since. The option is still there but it just won’t allow me to select it. I have tried replacing the fuse, resetting it and updating it (unsuccessfully). I believe it has something to do with my dashcam as I once unplugged it and was able to select DAB, but each station just read ‘BAND 5A’ or something and would go back to FM when selected. This only happened once though. I have added another ferrite core to the dashcam cable but still no success.

Ford are charging something like £80-£90 for a diagnostic so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has any tips!

Thanks!
