unofix
Hello Matt, it all depends on what you want to do and how much you want the towbar electrics integrated with the cars electrics. Firslty are you going to tow a caravan and therefore want a 13 pin socket, or is it only for a trailer or bike rack and therefore you only need the old 7 pin connector ? Next do you want the towing "Indicator Repeater" to work on the dashboard or are you happy to have a seperate warning light/buzzer fitted somewhere on the dashboard ? and of course it depends on who is going to fit this, how much you want to spend and are you (or whoever is fitting it) willing to go in to the cars software to turn on the 'towing module' (after its fitted) and make the other changes needed ? If this is only for a trailer then I would buy a general purpose after market towing electric kit from somewhere like Halfords and fit an indicator buzzer in the boot.
