ABS WIRE

Hi. I have a ford galaxy mk3 and having problems with the ABS light not going out i have changed the sensor and hub but still not going out i plugged it in to forscan and it is saying that's a bad Earth. But it is going into loom how do I replace the wire or earth. Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Steve, unless I'm missing something, Forscan is not saying bad earth. Rather that the signal from the ABS sensor is either open or short circuit, which would kind of point to a damaged/corroded connector. Start at the wheel sensor and follow the harness back looking for connectors. You will probably need to remove the front bumper (I know its a pain to do) as I seem to remember that there are some connectors behind it, one of which is for the ABS.

Have you set up Forscan to view live data from the ABS sensor ? Fault finding on this sort of problem is not easy without the correct equipment, you really need the Ford schematic drawings to know where the connectors are and also a scope to view the data signal on the ABS wire (modulated squarewave).
