StephenFord
I know it's a long shot, but can anyone ID my mum's central heating timer? I have googled the image to death and cannot identify what model it is to get the instructions... (sorry for fuzzy photo, thought it was better than it actually turned out to be!) There is no ID on the casing whatsoever (thanks Honeywell!), and I'm reluctant to remove it from wall as I'll probably break the darn thing!
TomsFocus
Considering the number of buttons on it, surely it can't be that hard to work out? 518 seems a bit warm though, even if that's Fahrenheit. I'd turn it down a little. Seriously though, what does the centre button say? Is that menu button?

Mum is now home recovering from a stroke, and is unable to operate it right now. Her heating wasn't working properly, and the engineer who I've used for years, was back again today for 2nd attempt at repairing. We then discovered that the timer has a built in thermostat which mum had managed to turn right down, so with the warm ambient heat, the boiler wasn't operating! LOL I just want to know all the nitty details of it so I can program it so she doesn't have to touch it.
Turvey
Looks like the T8617a1001 to me... .... I have no idea really but I had a quick shufty around Google and it looks very similar. Couldn't find a manual though. Good luck with it, and your mum 😉 1

That does indeed look like the very same one. I can't find online instructions either, but I have now submitted an inquiry to Honeywell to see if they can help me - thanks again for your response, really appreciate it...

I soon became the 'expert' in not only setting them before sale, but also replacing the batteries when needed. My love of watches never died, and even now, I remove links/replace batteries for friends new watches and I only charge a packet of biscuits!
