2010 mondeo mk4 1.8tdci titanium. 

 

I have thule roofbars fitted at the points for the fitting kit metal nibs located inside the vehicle. 

I've just had to drill new holes in my roofbox because the bars are 79cm apart inner edge to inner edge front to back, and the holes in the roofbox were less far apart. 

I also have a roofbag I want to use, the bolts are also closer together even at max length than the roofbars are. 

Have I just found out that the front to rear distance between roofbars is not standard? I assumed it was, because now I have a roofbag I can't attach.
