Hi all, new to the forums but joined after picking up my first Focus, a minter of a 2009 1.6 Zetec to use as a daily runner/work hack. I’m not new to the blue oval brand as have had several over the years but if anyone could point out any well known issues to look out for with the Focus it would be appreciated 👍🏻 Also looking at wringing a few more ponies/torques out of the 1.6, I know it’ll never set the world on fire performance wise but anything to make her more user friendly/nippy around town would be a bonus, thanks in advance

    Thanks @Eric Bloodaxe I’ve had a quick look through it, seeing things like leaky rear hatch, sticky pcv valves is putting me straight back in the drivers seat of my Honda Fn2 lol 😂 I’ve not seen anything too scary yet, I like to tinker with my cars and do what bits I can, so stuff like this will keep me busy at a weekend 👍🏻
