Help! I was trying to turn off child lock & in doing so locked the car door lock closed while it's open. I've since found out the child lock is sodding remote locking with a button by the driver 🙄 anyone know how I can get this to unlock as I've tried holding the handle open, locking & unlocking the doors etc. It's a back door not a front door. The door currently can't shut as this bit is in the way! I rotated it clockwise if that helps, the YouTube I watched that seemed promising showed him fixing it by rotating it clockwise so I've not done the same thing as him.....😱😱😱😭😭🤬😱😭😭

I'm not quite sure what you did, but normally if you cause the door lock to become locked with the door open all you do is pull the handel on the inside of the door and the lock will go back to open.

Maybe you could post a picture of what it was that you 'rotated'

I've just fixed it. I was trying the outside handle but holding the inside handle open allowed me to flip it back to the unlock position! Thank you for taking time to respond, I had a feeling it'd be a simple fix when I worked it out!
