I have recently got an 07 mk6 fiesta zetec s and have had a problem where the car will start completely fine when it’s cold and after being driven for a very short while but when it has been taken out for a long drive and the engine is turned off it won’t start or it will struggle to start. Any suggestions?

Do you mean when the engine is hot a) the engine turns over properly with starter motor but won’t fire up as it should.      Or.    B) the starter motor is turning slowly and not turning the engine over at the normal speed it should

The problem is if you park it up with the engine pretty warm, sometimes you attempt to start it again just after stopping

& it won't start reliably. This is for a Fiesta petrol Mk6 (07 plate), I notice in your user-ID/description you say you have a diesel

2015 model ? But if you know about Petrol Mk6 Fiestas that would be good

Hi, yes I do know about petrol fiestas , but you didn’t answer my question about the symptoms you have a or b . 

Not a starter-motor or battery-charge-level issue, I expect it could be one engine-(mis)management/ignition

When did it last have a full service and new spark plugs fitted ?

I've had this problem on a few different model of car, most of the time it's ended up being either the cam sensor or the crank sensor or both
