Hi, I am Jim, and have bought a Focus Millenium to restore as my retirement. The car has just returned from the paint shop, where it had 2 new wings, 2 new sills and 2 new rear arches, rear doors reseamed and derusted, plus a bit of welding to the rear floor area. It has been repainted, as you can see, as the yellow fades badly in UV.

I wanted an original launch car, but could not find one easily with a good spec. So along came the one owner, full Ford main dealer service history Focus Millenium, it drives like a new car.

Next up over winter will be to take the two subframes out and powder coat them, and the powertrain tidy up with new nuts/bolts and clamps.

I was on the original Launch Team in Saarlouis and Cologne , hence the connection. Perhaps the best time of my career, although Halewood was also a great job.
