Just traded the Qashqai in, didn't even have it 2 years!

I kinda liked it but Mrs Turvey didn't like the fact that the nearest Nissan dealer is an hour's boat journey and then a 120 mile drive away. Given the fact that nearly anytime something goes wrong with a car nowadays it requires plugging in at a main dealer for diagnosis I appreciated that having a car that could be maintained by a local garage would be advantageous. 

Mrs T also has a bad back and has difficulty getting in and out of low cars, so the range of suitable cars is somewhat narrow.

Given this, admittedly small amount of information, what have we bought?

    Is your local garage a specialist for any particular make?  This could be a long guessing game without some more clues. :laugh:

    To be fair if you knew my location, in my profile I presume, it wouldn't be too difficult to work it out and the fact that I'm sure I've mentioned before that our son works at the garage.

    Agreed, it's not the most stylish set of wheels but it's practical for our needs and we now have the peace of mind that if anything does go wrong we've got a main dealer just along the road. 

    MOT and service in a couple of weeks, I'm assuming our son will just take it to work with him and take it home after it's done. Even save the bother of taking it in ourselves 😄

    I'll also need to investigate updating the Sync 3 as I scanned for updates last night and there is one but it didn't download over wi-fi 🤷

    I was going to guess a Tesco delivery van from that... :laugh:

    Yes, he works at the local Ford garage as hire car valater, petrol pump attendant, dogsbody etc etc 😄

    He's just sold the ST 🙄 said he was fed up with the diesel so he's got his eyes on another Fiesta ST, petrol this time, but it's away down south in Glasgow!
