Mondeo Advice

Featured Replies

Hi All, I am looking at a high mileage (120k) 2016 Mondeo Titanium X Sport 2l Hybrid.  My current car is a Mercedes 320 so used to a little bit of power under foot.  I have read that this model is a bit of a slouch?

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.  It has 100% Ford dealer service history and I think every toy possible for this model.

regards

its worth joining mondeo mk5 uk facebook group.  Some really good members to the group that would be more than happy be able to give you advice and how to get the best out of your motor

They are okay off the line due to electrical assistance but are not quick cars, they are not geared either so the engine screams above 70/80mph.

Good overall car though, they average around 40-50mpg depending on driving style and wether you do a lot of motorway driving (motorway driving is worse for electric/hybrid vehicles due to lack of regen braking).

Thanks for the replies, but from the real life reviews I have seen its not for me.  my car had 220bhp new so no idea what it has now but it still kicks me into the back of the seat and this car struggles to pull the skin off custard 😞

I think I need to look at something different.

This is the car I was interested in https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304114028652
