Hello Everyone,

 

I’m looking for some help with an alternator replacement process for my 2016 s max.

 

I’ve found one online to remove the fuel pump bracket and access and remove the alternator from the top.

 

Is this the best way or any recommendations / procedures for accessing it from underneath?

 

any help appreciated.

    Remove fuel filter and the entire housing to gain access to the alternator and then pull the alternator out through the top

    Can you go in through the inner wheel arch. A lot cars you can do this on, once you remove the plastic liners.
