Radio Code

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am looking to replace the battery on my new purchase and was wondering if a code is needed.

If a code is needed where can I get it from?

I'm assuming the original handbook is no longer with the car, if radio has a code, it's usually written inside cover. This may be of help...

It'll be a V code on a Mk4 Mondeo so not free to generate like M codes.

You can still get the V codes for free if you search around.

I don't suppose that you can get the code whilst it's still working or with Forscan.

Press 1 and 6 together, hold until the radio info comes up. Then look for the serial number - normally starts with a v. The enter info into one of many free apps for ford radio codes. Or in the website mentioned above.
