Hi All

Just bought a 1.25 and part from air con not working, it has been great.  Now the ABS light has come on whilst running engine on the drive.

To save time and for future investment what is a good error code reader and can put out ABS lights when fixed?
I see Halfords, Europarts and even Machinemart sell them and of course Amazon has hundreds

Any reasonably priced ones out there?

Are the Bluetooth ones any good?

Any advice appreciated

Cheers

Andrew

This question gets asked all the time lol.

The best scanner for Ford is a modified ELM327 lead from Tunnelrat (less than £20) and download Forscan onto a laptop (free, you just have to register for the extended licence every 3 months). It's as close to dealer level diagnostics as you'll get for this price.

Totally agree with Luke. The best way is to use Forscan with a hard wired ELM327 lead from Tunnelrat. There is a Bluetooth version available but it only allows codes to be read, you can not use it for programming just encase communication is lost at a critical moment.
