Should this not be connected to something in my engine bay?

Featured Replies

Just been looking in my engine bay as I get a rattle/vibration under load and when I start and stop my car and noticed this piece which has 2 screw holes which surely means it should be connected to something?

Oh crikey, not another, 'flux capacitor'!! I was sure these were just a limited edition option, but recently, they've been appearing on all sorts of models, maybe they were an Ebay accessory sold to the more discerning car owner LOL

If your car 'works', wouldn't worry. In the manufacture of cars, looms often are generically made with various take off points for potential optional accessories, much cheaper than making individual model specific looms.
