07 1.6 focus zetec climate tdci - engine cut out

So I have a focus zetec climate tdci 1.6  07 at 150k mileage and two days ago while I was pulling out onto a main road the engine suddenly cut out and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, as well as coming up with a steering failure warning and an engine malfunction warning.

The car started up again on my first try with no problems, none of the warning lights came on and neither of the warning messages popped up either and its not cut out again since. 

anyone got any ideas or had a similar issue? I don’t want to just leave it as I do a lot of mileage travelling for work and don’t fancy my engine cutting out on the motorway but I also don’t want to take it to a garage for them to rip me off and end up saying they can’t find anything wrong

    My 2007 1.6tdci fiesta started doing that at about 120k miles. It did it many times. Only seemed to do it on left turns. Put fault code reader on it. Said code was low fuel pressure. I replaced fuel filter and it was cured.  Fuel filter is 37500 miles on service schedule but I had ignored that until this happened.
