Hi, I'm new to the club and I've just bought a 2001 (reg. 03.08.2001) Modeo LX. I have a couple of questions which members may be able to help me out with, I'd be very grateful for any assistance. Firstly, is my car a Mk1 or a Mk3? Reg.doc. doesn't tell me.

Secondly, can anyone tell me please which is the correct A/C compressor for the car? I can't get a part no. from the original fitted item due to 20 years of salt corrosion!

    You won't find a part number on the compressor no matter how hard you look. Take a look on 

    www.catcar.info 

    and enter your vin for detailed parts info.

    It's more likely  you need a new condensor! Here's mine from my 02 mk3...before and after...
