Sync2 roundabout speedo directions

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Recently purchased a 2015 Ford focus Titanium, and ive been using the sat nav a bit. I have noticed when heading to a roundabout the voice announcement might say 4th exit for example, the picture in the centre console shows fine. But the little image of a roundabout behind the steering wheel would show completely wrong, most often indicating to take the first exit (9 o'clock position).

Ive found 1 or 2 topics mentioning this, but no real fix or conclusion.

Has anyone else experienced this? or better yet any fix for it?

Thanks!

Okay, looking further into it, it seems my Sync2 firmware is an older version. However when i use the Ford website, input my VIN number it says there are no updates, but i believe the latest version is 3.10, currently mine is 3.62 iirc.

Any idea why it says it is up to date? think it is worth contacting the ford dealer to see if they can send me a link for the update files?

Cheers!
