Focus mk4

Featured Replies

Hi all, new here and would just like to ask a question about a mk4 Focus I have had for 3 months, I bought it with 20,000 miles and have done 3,000 myself, it is still under Ford warranty until Feb 22, but here is the thing, the gearbox has had to be replaced and now I have it back was wondering whether if it would be wise to get rid when the Ford warranty runs out.

I have never had a major repair like this on a fairly new car, (always had VW'S) and would just like an idea on the best decision.

Thanks.

That’s why you have a warranty. No product is ever 100% defect free.

The previous owner may have abused it.

Yeah, I thought about that too.

I love the car, and I suppose replacing it with another could just give me the same problems.
