focus speaker all having problems

Featured Replies

hi all

i have a 55 plate focus fitted with the 6000cd but recently all the door speakers stopped working exept the front tweeters work
thought it was the 6000cd at fault but took it out and tested it and no problems
checked the speakers at rear of stereo and not getting any readings so somewhere there is a fault
the other front door right door speaker came back on then off and back on and now off again
could anybody help its driving me crazy

cheers

marko

Hi Mark,

I've saw this happen with the 6000CD head units before; diagnosed to be a fault with the internal amplifier inside the head unit,

replacement being the only resolution; in which case i hope you don't have Bluetooth as the module is separate to the head unit and would require software by ford to get the replacement head unit to communicate with your existing Bluetooth module if fitted.
