MK2 TDCI Turbo oil leak

Featured Replies

Hello guys , My 2010  1.6 Tdci  is running well and turbo seems to work fine . But the outlet is leaking oil and mechanic says there is a spilt in the oil pipe , and i have had to top up engine oil .i think it  was  the inlet pipe he mentioned .

I am having other work  done and the main conversation was about that .(the other work)

Q: Is it any easy fix ?

if not is there  a shortcut/patching up  option ?

the  car has  done 141k miles .

thx in advance

dave

If there's a split in the metal oil feed pipe then the only option is a replacement, it can't be repaired.  It's a simple job, though access is a pain on these.
