APIM - Code: U3000 - Control Module - help requested please

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Can anyone give me a steer on what the following DTC showing up in APIM is please on a mk4 focus?
Many thanks,
Simon

APIM

Code: U3000 - Control Module

Additional Fault Symptom:
- Component Failures

Status:
- Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Accessory Protocol Interface Module

U3000 = Component Failure (Hardware Failure).

This code is either generated when the module detects an internal hardware error or if the module configuration is not compatible. For example if a function is configured that is not supported by the module.
