I have just recently bought a 2014 Focus ST and having problem with alarm going off intermittently and also bonnet open warning coming on. Anybody any ideas?

    It will be the bonnet sensor triggering the alarm as you're getting open bonnet warnings

    You'll need to get it replaced. I can't remember on that model, it might need a whole new (or second hand) bonnet latch mechanism.

    I think you can temporarily shut it up by unplugging the loom and I THINK just bridge the contacts and it will think it's shut.

    Unplug the loom from the catch and bridge it’ tape it up tight and forget about it Just check your bonnet is locked when you’ve been under it that’s what I have done
