That is so badly worded, it doesn't even make grammatical sense. What on earth does this mean "After fitting a diesel particulate filter a many low emission zones allow you in the zone". Sounds like it was written by a 5 year old.

That article is out of date. The new ULEZ requirement is not euro 4 (which is having a DPF fitted), it is now euro 6. I think it changed earlier this year.

i thought its been euro 6 for quite a while. not that i ever need to go into a ulez zone.

Most low emission zones are now euro 6. I know that I'll need to pay when I drive to London (Stratford) next year now that the ULEZ zone has been expanded.

If you have a Euro 6 diesel I would suggest checking on the ULEZ checker that your car is exempt from the charge, as when I checked mine a couple of weeks ago it said I had to pay the charge.

After sending a copy of my registration document, a couple of days later they rectified it and it no longer shows I need to pay the charge.

My boss had exactly that problem.

He received a penalty notice for one of his Euro 6 diesel coaches in London. He had it withdrawn when the evidence was provided to TfL.

Check your car particularly if it was built close to the cut off date.
