P2263/P0234 turbo boost problems

Featured Replies

Hi, I have read a few posts which led me to have a look for a loose vacuum hose. After having a look under the car I immediately found a pipe hanging down but could not figure out where it has came off. It seems to attach to just under the windscreen not to any part on the car I have attached a picture and hopefully someone has an idea of where is has came off. Thanks.20211021_163358.thumb.jpg.9bb9e9b0eab8ecdd5f59ebf6e0c3e419.jpg

Looks like the AC drain pipe to me. Is your boost solenoid making any strange noises?

That would make sense as it's connected to the top of the frame not any engine part. Not too sure it's been playing up since I bought it. I replaced the top hose from heater core to egr cooler because the flange was leaking, I thought that would solve the issue with it but it did not so I bought a obd2 device and it Brought up the codes so I had a look under the car as I came across a post to check hoses as when it has been serviced there is some hose that can be easily pulled off when changing oil filter and that was the first hose I seen so I thought it may have been something to do with it. Thanks for the reply I will have a look into it more or probably take it to a garage when I can. Thanks again.

Thanks will look in to it I'm a beginner with little knowledge lol so il see how I get on thanks alot. I don't have any check engine light it just goes into limp mode and says engine systems fault where the mileage is when I put too much acceleration on. Its drives fine if I don't put my foot down just annoying if I have to accelerate up a hill cause it just judders and makes a whooshing noise through the air vents and pushes lots of sometimes white and sometimes black smoke out.
