2010 Ford Focus 1.6 Titanium Instrument Cluster LCD Screen staying on all night

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My LCD Screen on my instrument cluster stays on constantly, showing the time, temp and mileage. I have waited atleast an hour and checked to see if it is still on and it has been. It's caused a brand new battery to drain already so looking for solutions.

My Travelpilot FX ,which has ronowned problems with being sensitive, is currently stuck with a black screen when I start the car. It is completely unresponsive so I have been looking at replacing it.

I actually took it out completely today and I think this has resolved the issue of my LCD screen staying on? I'm so confused why this has fixed it? I did see it has been the bluetooth module before, so could it be that? Will I need to disconnect that indivual unit, If I was to replace the media unit for an after market one?

All the help I can get will be greatly appreciated!
