does anyone know how to remove the stop lamp on the rear spoiler as the rear washer jet is malfunctioning. it looks like the hose has disconnected and the water is just pouring out of the edges of the lens/stop lamp. There doesn't seem to be any screws holding it it place but I'm reluctant to pull it with any force for fear of breaking it.
Surely it can't be that difficult ?
I have added pics and the water is actually coming from the top right edge of the fitting not the hole where it should which means the pipe has obviously come off

    The spoiler needs to come off, then access the 2 metal clips and lever the clips to remove the lamp.

    Really! Seems a little extreme! It’s a mk4 69reg, do you know if that’s  the only way?

    yep, spoiler looks like its only held in place with 4 nuts . not that extreme.
