Mfk2021
Hi guys, Where does everyone buy their service parts from and what parts would you recommend getting serviced? Car is on 95k but drives fine but would like to give it a full service for peace of mind. Thanks
TomsFocus
I tend to buy genuine parts on eBay nowadays. No worries about the quality and often cheaper than the aftermarket parts from ECP/GSF if you spend a bit of time searching part numbers. If you just want a quick one-stop shop, then ECP is probably easiest. Full service for me would be - oil (5w30 Ford spec) oil filter Diesel filter Air filter Pollen filter At 95k, has the timing belt belt been replaced? Mfk2021
Thanks for the reply I don't believe it has so guessing at that mileage, timing belt is worth changing too? Do you have the part numbers for the parts or know where I can find them?

I don't have a list of part numbers to hand I'm afraid. Some of the parts are different between 1.6 & 2.0 TDCI so you'll have to be a bit more specific about your engine. You can use 7zap to find numbers, or someone on here may have an itemised list from a recent dealer service they could offer. You can also phone Ford parts dept to ask for part numbers but that's a bit cheeky if you're not buying from them.
