What gearbox Focus Active x 2020

Featured Replies

Info please what gearbox would be fitted in a 2020 Ford Focus Active X 1.5 diesel Automatic

it has a rotary gear selector PRND

I think it’ll be the 8 speed. Afaik the Mk4.5 petrol automatics will have a 7 speed powershift with a stick but the diesels will have an 8 speed, I assume the same one as all the Mk4 automatics. Might be wrong..I can’t give you a certain answer unfortunately. Thinking now ford maybe changed Mk4s to a 7 speed but with the rotary dial. That answer didn’t help at all ! 😝

If you're talking a 2020 model it would have had an 8 speed torque converter box as Alex mentioned.
