Focus 3 MFD 5 Navigation Blocked

Featured Replies

Hello, to everyone
I have a Focus 2011 with MFD 5 navigation. I installed navigation software to  my MFD5 from Nissan Connect 1 SD card (i know this was a  stupid thing to do but i wanted to combine east and west europe to one card). With that card MFD detected  new software, installed successfully the navigation program , but after restart  entered the update menu again....so not working...:).
After that, inserted back the original  SD card from Ford, appeared the update message , successfully updated the navigation software, but after restart  Navigation menu is greyed out , and "Navigation not available " message appeared when pressed Navi or Map buttons.
I tried different maps, Eastern or Western versions, From V1 to V10 but same thing: Install success but navigation not working.
In all causes MFD detected the new card, installed the software with successfully message, but "Navigation not available" after restart.
This is my module:
FCDIM - Front Control/Display Interface Module
Part number: AM5T-18B955-DJ
SW: F1BT-14D358-DC
Somebody can  help me with that problem?
Is there any way to reinitialize the MFD or something? (maybe edit the pre_dnl, sys_dnl usb_dnl bat files in /bin/system/adit/ford_mfd to force a firmware downgrade from v4 card for example...i don't how to do ) . (Nissan connect map package doesn't have that directory so the firmware was not touched, only the 2 "nissan" uli files was installed).

Thank you in advance

Trying to install Nissan software it to a Ford navigation system was never going to end well.

I'd buy a new android unit and replace your original Ford system.

I know that now...., but really there is no another way to revive the navigation part? ( i have acces to UCDS, IDS, ELM327 , nothing can be done?)
