MOT advisories

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I have just bought a 57 plate Fiesta Zetec Climate so my grandson can get some learner driving road time before his test. The car has a full 12 months MOT but there re a couple of advisories which I want to address. Rear wheel bearing noise is one (not too difficult to work out) and the other is "Play in steering rack inner joint(s) Nearside front inner." I have no idea what this really means as I don't think it refers to the track ends. Any clues please?

Thanks

It is referring to the inner track rod rather than the outer.

Thanks Luke4efc, it was the MOT speak that confused me. Over 50 years in engineering and jargon still gets me.
