Strange sound from TDCI mk4 engine

Featured Replies

HI there.

Im from Sweden, with a 2011 TDCI 2.0 Mondeo.

When the engine gets varm, I get a random "ticking" sound from the right side of the engine ( standing infront of the motor ).
When I increase the RPM, the sound goes away, to return again when the rpm drops down do idle.
The sound dont follow rpm.
I have located the sound around the vacuum pump area.
I also found another persons youtube film, where he has the same kind of random "ticking" sound.
He changed the changer valve ( 6G9Q-9E882-CA ).
Perhaps I have the same thing, or the  vacuum pump it self is going down.

Here is a link to my poor video, where you can hear the sound.
The phone is located just abow the  vacuum pump.

And here is the other guys youtube video that share the same kind of sound:

Hope you can guide me some.
