Engine mounts for my focus

Featured Replies

Hi I’m new to this group

I’ve recently brought a mk2 focus zetec s (59 plate) and have been told to purchase rear engine mounts to help stop the vibrations as they are really bad both when idle and whilst driving. I’ve looked on car parts sites but unsure on what I actually need and whether I need 1 or 2 of them. If anyone can advise or link me to what I need it would be much appreciated

Thanks Ade

It would be one of below the first is bottom back and the other one is bottom right when looking into the bay.

But it's more than likely the first one.

Would you think I’d be best buying both incase it isn’t the first one as would have to wait for the other part be delivered and then have to pay the mechanic again

Entirely up to yourself it would be easy enough to do the first one on jack stands alone.

I’ve ordered the other one too as it was only £14, thanks very much for your help. The fact I had a quick response with the info I needed showed me this group is worth signing up for so took advantage of the discount and paid for a 2 year membership 👍
