MK2 Facelift parking assist module info

Featured Replies

So I was looking in the boot under the right hand side carpet boot trim to check if I had the Orange cable as I want to fit a 12v socket and a couple of usb sockets in the boot (I do a lot of car camping and just lay the rear seats flat and put my memory foam mattress down, cheap mans camper!!!)

Well I found I do have the Orange cable taped up and there is another thiner cable (Blue and white I believe) Just wondering what that is for?

Also on to the topic title... I noticed the parking assist module with two plugs in it but a third unpopulated one in the middle, just wondering what this is for? Is that for front sensors because as far as I know no MK2 focus ever had front parking sensors? I guess it could be a generic part used in various ford models that do have the front sensors? If it is for front sensors could these be fitted and made to work?

Cheers in advance
