Orientation of low level screenwash indicators

Afternoon all,

lookibg to see what the correct orientation is for the low screenwash level plug.

is it’s normally setting is the white part level with rest of plug. Or is it level when the is enough washer fluid and once it drops the white part drop too, thus giving the warning on the dash?
