">120" on Focus MK4 cluster - what is it?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the ">120" on the Focus MK4 cluster designates?  Can't find it in the manual, and only noticed it when the sun was on the cluster.  I have attached a photo with a yellow square around the part of the cluster.  Is it when the water temp is over 120 degrees?

Was going to suggest it might be a kms based speed warning as it’s near the speedo but as your temp gauge maxes out at 120C it is probably for over temperature warning as you suggest

I don’t know but I am wondering if it is to show you have set a speed limiter of 120kph which is 75mph

It's the over-heating warning.

The answer can be found in the EcoSport handbook.

Cheers 🙂 I did search for >120 but nothing came up, guess it confused the search engine!

When this warning comes up, what does the temp gauge show?

Maximum

120
