Im looking to buy a MK4 mondeo tdci with the awf21 aisin transmission. I cant figure out which year and engine versions this gearbox was mated to. Is it on the 2.0/2.2 from 2007-2010? And when the facelift model came did they switch to the MPS6 DCT for all? I've seen some facelift tdci 2.0 models with "poershift on the gearstick and some without. Hope someone can clarify which model year and which diesel engines came with the AWF21. Is the 2.0 140 hp awf21 combination available after 2010? Maybe in some markets in europe?

    Auto's before Face Lift (up to approx 2010) are AWF21

    Facelift Onwards are Getrag Powershift MPS6 DCT both petrol and diesel

    EXCEPT the 2.2 Diesel which retained the AWF21

    I am talking UK market, don't know about others

    Also UK market calls the Facelift a MK4.5
