Hi All,

Wife has rang on way home from work as the car is making a weird noise. 80k miles. 2006.

Please could you potentially help identify what the noise is please.

Thank you very much in advance

Sounds like a blown turbo to me, have you noticed any loss in power recently?

Out of curiosity is common for a turbo on this car to go after 80k miles?

I know its a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question to some degree, but it has been well looked after.

Might have just popped a boost hose?

80k would be early for a turbo if it was 8 years old...but at 15 years old the mileage is largely irrelevant.
