Engine malfunction light comes on and loss of power

In the last week or so, when it’s been wet my S max will lose power and the engine malfunction light will come on along with the stability light, can anyone help, I’ve already had the ecu taken out and dried out and wet proofed, that hasn’t worked, now stuck!

    Have you read the codes? It's a waste of time doing anything else until you've plugged in with an obd2 scanner (preferably Forscan on a laptop).
