Hey everyone, i just (today) bought a ford focus - and noticed this issue. Its been on for around 20 minutes now, and looking at similar posts, there could either be a whole host of issues OR its completely normal and the car is just taking its time shutting down and powering off.

Its got a brand new MOT and the previous owner had no such issues and told me it does eventually go off; but I am looking for some reassurance and being paranoid about it as its my first car for YEARS as I've been on motorbikes instead (finally growing up and going back to a car, lol). Luckily the seller lives on my street so came to take a look and again said its fine... so, what do you lot think? Should I be worried about this?

Totally normal, my 2010 Kuga used to do the same. Nothing to worry about.

As I've said before on such matters "its not a fault" ...... "its a feature"

Thank you for the reassurance folks; having read a few other posts where it was something more onerous I was a little concerned I had been duped, so glad to hear that isn't the case! ^_^ happy driving!
